William Harvey

(April 1, 1578–June 3, 1657) Harvey was a medical doctor is best remembered for his work on the human heart. He was the first person to correctly document the blood and its properties as it travels throughout the body from the heart. His work inspired Rene Descartes and Michael Servetus, physician. William also did research into embryology in which he supported the Aristotelian theory. |
