Jean-Baptiste Lamarck

(August 1, 1744 - December 28, 1829) Jean was a naturalist who is best remembered for his theory of "inheritance of acquired traits" or heredity, which is no now a discredited theory. Lamarck still has supporters in the 21st century, these supporters are often called Lamarckists. Lamarck also promoted the idea of evolution at an early age. |
