(30 April 1777 - 23 Feb 1855) Carl Gauss was German mathematician, physicist, and astronomer known for groundbreaking research in many fields. His contributions include the study of statistical distributions as well as new theories in astronomy. He is considered to be one of the greatest contributors to science today. |
