Carolus Linnaeus

(May 23, 1707 - January 10, 1778) Linnaeus was a physician, botanist, and zoologist. He is best remembered as the "father of modern taxonomy" since he created the foundations for nomenclature in biology. Linnaeus made other contributions. He made great contributions to ecology. He created the "Petal Time Clock" which made him one of the pioneers of chronobiology. |
