(980 AD - 1070 AD) Avicenna was a physician and philosopher. Avicenna made many great contributions to a wide range of subjects, with an emphasis on philosophy and medicine, which he published in 450 books. He is considered by many to be the "father of modern medicine" due to his contribution to medicine. |
